The $1,000 “Community Outreach: How Students Can Make a Change” Scholarship will help students achieve their academic goals.

SEATTLE, WA, November 01, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — Beginning in 2024, Jackman Law Firm intends to offer a $1,000 “Community Outreach: How Students Can Make a Change” scholarship to students throughout the United States. The team specifically wants this scholarship to award students who put generous thought and care into supporting their local communities.

Students who want to qualify for this scholarship must prove to Jackman Law Firm that they’ve maintained a 3.0 or higher GPA and been accepted into an accredited university, college, and/or graduate school. Qualifying students must then submit a video talking about a life-changing experience that they experienced while volunteering.

Jackman Law Firm specifically wants its students to think about:

– The job skills they developed as part of a volunteer committee
– How that experience influenced students’ plans for a career
– Three lessons they learned from volunteering
– How their volunteer work made a difference in their local community

The scholarship selection committee requests that students keep their videos under a minute in length. That said, students’ videos must be a minimum of 30 seconds long. Students should post the videos as unlisted YouTube videos before sharing a link to said video with the scholarship selection committee.

Students must submit all scholarship application materials to the firm by April 15, 2024. Jackman Law Firm’s scholarship selection committee reserves up to three months to consider each applicant’s application. The firm will then reach out to its winner and post an announcement celebrating that winner’s achievements on its blog.
