The Consortium for the Protection of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena exhibited for the third year at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival® in Miami, from February 24-27, 2022

MIAMI, FL, March 08, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ — This past weekend, Balsamic Vinegar of Modena marked its third successful activation at one of the largest food and drink festivals in the United States. Consorzio Tutela Aceto Balsamico di Modena Consortium for the Protection of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena) participated in the 21st annual Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival®. February 24th to February 27th, 2022, the festival featured a star-studded showcase of the most renowned wine and spirits, producers, chefs, and culinary personalities to over 65,000 avid fans and foodies.

As a sponsor and participant in several events at this year’s festival, Balsamic Vinegar of Modena was one of the main highlights at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Trade Day on Friday, February 25, as well as the festival’s signature Goya Foods Grand Tasting Event on Saturday, February 26 and Sunday, February 27.

This year, Balsamic Vinegar of Modena was also integrated within recipe development for the festival’s recurring “Taste of Italy”. On February 25th, the event featured culinary innovation from top Miami chefs including Santo Agnello (Casa Isola), Todd Erickson (formerly HaVen South Beach) and Dal Plin Executive Chef Elisabetta Callegano.

The events were part of the project “Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, the Original”, focused on the U.S. market and financed by the European Union, to promote the added value of the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, in terms of authenticity, safety, traceability, and labeling guaranteed by the European trademark protection. The campaign aims to enhance the competitiveness of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena across the United States.
